Carl (Skip) Wojnowski

Retired Chief

Retired Chief Carl (Skip) Wojnowski has served with the Tess Corners Fire Department for 39 years, 24 of those years as the Chief. 

Currently, Skip is is an EMT and Firefighter within the department after stepping down from the Chief role in 2018 following a knee surgery.

Skip has dedicated a large part of his adult life to the Volunteer Fire Service and all of those who have served under him are extremely greatful for all of those years of service. He is a remarkable leader, friend and asset to the fire department. 

Skip has served on the fire department with numerous relatives, including his nephews, brothers, and still currently serves with his brother, Assistant Chief Mike Wojnowski.
